Ontario Trillium Foundation The Ontario Trillium Foundation is a strong supporter of Save the Children Canada’s Supporting Security parenting and children’s mental health project currently being implemented in the James Bay region of Ontario. Remedy'sRX Global Drug Mart Remedy’sRx was the title sponsor for the Remedy’sRx Himalaya Challenge 2009 that raised funds for Save the Children Canada. The Remedy’sRx Himalaya Challenge 2009 engaged 33 participants who raised $156,000. Proceeds from the Remedy’sRx Himalaya Challenge 2009 went towards supporting Save the Children Canada's work in Latin America which focuses on preventing violence against children, providing access to appropriate education, reducing harmful child work by improving their working conditions, HIV and AIDS prevention, emergency response and promoting children's rights. www.remedys.ca |

Sanctuary for Kids Sanctuary for Kids (S4K) is a not for profit foundation that serves to provide sanctuary for children who do not live with the right of safety in their lives. Sanctuary for Kids Foundation made a number of generous contributions to Save the Children Canada’s emergency relief efforts in Haiti and Pakistan. Scholastic Book Clubs Scholastic Book Clubs' ClassroomsCare is a philanthropy-based literacy campaign designed to teach children about the joys and importance of reading and giving. Every year from January to May students in classrooms all across the country will read 10 books each and in turn, Scholastic Book Clubs donates 100 books (for a total donation of up to 100,000 new books) to disadvantaged children countrywide through literacy partners like Save the Children Canada. www.scholastic.ca/ |
